What actually happens on install day, start to finish
From the estimate to the final walkthrough — the eight steps of a Perimeter Pros fence install.
People are usually surprised how much of a fence job happens before anyone digs a hole.
First, the estimate. We walk the property with you, measure the run, talk about material, height and gate placement, and leave you with a written itemized quote. No charge and no pressure.
Second, the line. We confirm the property pins from your survey. Not the mowed edge, not the old fence — the pins. This is the step that prevents a very expensive conversation with your neighbor later.
Third, permits and approvals. We pull county or city permits where they are required and prepare drawings and specs for HOA review when your community needs them.
Fourth, utility locates. Underground utilities get marked before we dig, every time, on every job.
Fifth, tear-out. If there is an old fence, it comes out and gets hauled away, including the old concrete footings.
Sixth, posts. Holes are augered to depth, posts are set plumb and in line, and every one gets a full concrete footing crowned above grade so water sheds away. Then they cure.
Seventh, panels, rails and gates. Panels go up, rails get fastened, gates get hung square with anti-sag bracing and hardware rated for the leaf weight.
Eighth, walkthrough and cleanup. We haul off the scrap, sweep the drive, and walk the finished line with you before we leave. Anything that is not right gets fixed then, not later.
